CAMPING-CAR PARK - AIRE DES SALINS DE LA PALME

An unusual "Camping-car Park" stopover area with 49 pitches at La Palme, opposite the Salin and near the lagoon (Kite-surfing spot)
All services (Eurorelais service terminal, water, electricity, waste sorting and 35 m2 pitch) are included in the price, all year round, 24 hours a day.
Electricity at each pitch: 48 sockets with 6 amps.
Vans WITH sanitary facilities are also accepted.

- Le Salin is open from April to the end of September: local store (spiced salt, fleur de sel, local wines...), mini-train tours.
- Hiking: "Le sentier des Salines au Rouet", a 4 km signposted trail through the salt works to the wild beach of Le Rouet de La Palme (between Port-la-Nouvelle and La Franqui; surfing spot (windsurfing, kite-surfing, sand yachting, emblematic venue of the PRINCE OF SPEED sailing race...), supervised beach from mid-June to mid-September. At the end of the path at the level crossing, turn left onto Chemin des Vignes to reach Port-la-Nouvelle.

You can also reach the village of La Palme (pharmacy/doctors, bakery, grocery/butcher store, tobacconist/newsagent, restaurants, electric vehicle charging station):
by bike or on foot (approx. 2 km) via "La Valentine" (Opposite the Salin exit, take the slightly off-center path on your left. Watch out for traffic on the D709!) then follow the shared path along the main road to the Chemin du Lavoir de La Palme (quarry capitelles, washhouses, mills, an authentic medieval winegrowing village).
