The Casino de la Exposición is one of the city's most important cultural reference centers and was built to house the Seville Pavilion that was part of the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition.
It was the work of the Valencian architect Vicente Traver y Tomás in 1926. He replaced Aníbal González and used Baroque style elements both in the ornaments and in the entire complex, including the circular hall of the Casino and the columned portico with which it opens.
Throughout the year there is a careful, varied and wide range of artistic exhibitions and other cultural activities such as book presentations or courses.
Among the events already held in this enclave, we can mention the World Chess Championship, the Film Festival and the Flamenco Biennale. Since 2012, the Casino de la Exposición has been the official headquarters of La Casa de los Poetas y las Letras.
This location in Seville is located in a strategic place in Seville next to the María Luisa Park and Plaza de España, and very close to the monumental area of the city, making it the ideal place for various events.
