Unauffällig und etwas versteckt zwischen einigen Wiesen und den Ausläufern des Silsombos liegt dort die Steingraben, ein Überbleibsel aus früheren Zeiten. Der Steingraben ist ein Aquädukt, das das Wasser der Molenbeek über das ihrer Schwester, der Weesbeek, transportiert. Er sorgte dafür, dass das Wasser der Molenbeek, nachdem es die Heersemmolen in Veltem-Beisem (Herent) gespeist hatte, zur Wassermühle von Ter Balkt (Kampenhout) transportiert werden konnte. Die Molenbeek (oben) fließt über die Weesbeek (unten).
