La chiesa di Sant'Orsola fu edificata nel 1413 su una struttura preesistente del XII secolo. È stata più volte ristrutturata nel corso dei secoli e fu ampliata nel 1631. Per fortuna conserva ancora la bella struttura originaria delle volte a crociera gotiche.
All'interno della chiesa di Sant'Orsola si trova il gruppo statuario dei Misteri del XVIII secolo, protagonisti della processione del Venerdì Santo. Meritano particolare attenzione, inoltre, alcune sculture di notevole pregio, attribuite a Gagini e alla sua bottega, e a Gabriele di Battista;
Nella chiesa di Sant'Orsola sono conservati anche i resti degli affreschi medievali della chiesa rupestre di Santa Maria Maddalena . L'ingresso più antico della chiesa è quello ad est, preceduto dalla bella scalinata.
Oggi la chiesa è adibita ad auditorium.
