Since September 12, 2019 marked exactly 75 years since the Allies liberated the first places in the Netherlands, I would like to refer to my “Tour through War History” here.
The route begins and ends at “Auberge 't Koffer” in Mesch, the first liberated café in the Netherlands, through which our liberators entered. The Auberge no longer exists in this form.
Along the way, memories of over 2000 years of war in this region can be seen and read.
