De Meyrueis tempel die vandaag de dag te zien is, werd geopend in 1840. Het gebouw bestaat uit twee in elkaar grijpende achthoeken, waardoor een enorme ruimte ontstaat. De schoonheid zit hem in de lambrisering van het interieur, van de koepel tot de pilaren die de koepel ondersteunen.
Daarnaast loopt er een houten galerij rond de omtrek van het gebouw, die dienst doet als vijfzijdige galerij.
