L'Edifici Telefónica (1926-1928) s'aixeca en una de les cantonades de la plaça Nova, a l'avinguda de la Constitució i al costat de l'Ajuntament, i és obra de Juan Talavera i Heredia.
La decoració es basa en els models barrocs de l'església de San Luis , el palau de San Telmo i l'església de la Magdalena.
L'edifici es caracteritza per la seva elaborada decoració i és un dels millors exemples del regionalisme neobarroc sevillà.
