Wonderful diverse and uneven walk (possible in both directions, the views are also beautiful, but totally different). We quickly leave the charmless agglomeration of Gistoux and find ourselves on the aptly named Sentier Particulier, which leads us to the entrance of the very rural Parc de Gistoux***. We circle around the beautiful pond and approach the ascent of rue Bruyères d'Inchebroux with a magnificent view of the meadows of the Bruyères valley. The beautiful Sentier du Champ des Goffes**** offers a great view on both sides, to the left over the Train valley and to the right over a very beautiful estate with carefully arranged plantations. Via Chemin du Fond des Goffes, we reach the edge of the Bois de Chaumont***. We take a detour to the spot known as Aftia over the Voie des Tombelles**, before leaving the forest via the very nice Sentier de la Grange du Sart***, which culminates at 143 m and offers a 360° view. We return through the Bruyères neighborhood to the woods and descend into the village via the Sentier Pont des Brebis**, and finally via the rural Sentier de la Cascade***, which runs along the railway that passes behind the Saint Jean-Baptiste church. A wonder in all seasons, good boots required!
