Orio al Serio [ˈɔːɾjo alˈseːɾjo] è un comune italiano di 1 736 abitanti della provincia di Bergamo in Lombardia, conosciuto principalmente per il suo aeroporto. Il comune si trova a circa 1 chilometro a sud-est del capoluogo orobico.
Recenti studi, coadiuvati da scavi, hanno accertato che i primi insediamenti umani che interessarono il territorio di Orio al Serio furono quelli di alcune piccole tribù del popolo dei Liguri, seguiti dagli Etruschi prima e dai Galli Cenomani poi.
