Eine sehr anstrengende Tour vom Tal der Weser in Eupen zum belgischen Höhepunkt: Botrange. Schwierigkeit durch die Entfernung (fast 26 km), durch den Höhenunterschied und das ständige Steigen sowie die nicht immer gut begehbaren Pfade entlang des Hügels, der fast die gesamte Strecke (flussaufwärts) dein Begleiter ist. Wie gewöhnlich findest du viele zusätzliche Informationen unter http://blog.seniorennet.be/overweg13/archief.php?ID=1954310. Du kannst es durchaus als Klassiker unter den GR-Strecken bezeichnen. Und es ist immer schön, wenn du noch kurz auf Botrange kommst; in unserer Kindheit gehörte das noch zum Lehrstoff Geographie der Grundschule. Damals war es ein ferner und unbekannter Ort, der stark die Fantasie anregte.
