Das Denkmal für Catalina de Ribera stammt aus dem Jahr 1921 und wurde von Juan Talavera y Heredia entworfen.
Es besteht aus mehreren Fresken , einer Kachel mit einem Porträt von Katharina und einem Flachrelief aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Am Fuße des Denkmals befindet sich ein Brunnen . Das Denkmal befindet sich an der Mauer, die diese Promenade vom Alcázares trennt . Unter dem Porträt von Catalina befindet sich eine Steinplatte mit einem Text und darunter ein Flachrelief, das zwei mythologische Kreaturen zeigt, die eine Vase mit Früchten halten.
Catalina de Ribera y Mendoza war eine Adlige aus dem 16. Jahrhundert , die finanziell zur Gründung des Hospital de las Cinco Llagas in der Stadt beitrug. 1895 benannte die Stadt diese Promenade nach ihr.
