La première séance a été projetée dans ce lieu le 10 juillet 1914, quelques jours avant la guerre, son nom l'Excelsior.Après deux transformations importantes en 1952 et 1978, l'établissement a baissé le rideau en octobre 2006 pour de gros travaux de modernisation.Une fois les moyens financiers réunis, les travaux commencent le 4 août 2008 pour une ouverture le 24 avril 2009.Le cinéma Turenne est composé de 3 salles vous proposant une programmation éclectique.Possibilité cinéma en 3D. Depuis 2011, le cinéma Turenne est passé à la projection en numérique.
