Il grande lavoro, Mucche in cammino verso la brughiera è di Florent Crabeels, un altro innovatore nella pittura del XIX secolo. Crabeels è chiamato il pittore della luce e Pol De Mont lo ha definito 'il nostro primo luminista belga'. Il retro mostra l'opera Il Campo di Carbone, un'opera in cui la luce domina anch'essa. Era molto amico di Heymans, dieci anni più giovane ma comunque molto influenzato da lui. Crabeels viveva in una parte della casa di Janneke 'Tijs' Van de Voet, (sul ponte sopra l'autostrada) un contadino non sposato (foto sul cartello).
