Il torrente originario nasce sotto il Parc Animalier des Monts de Guéret. L'acquedotto, la parte modificata dall'uomo, inizia il suo percorso grazie a due pietre che deviano l'acqua del torrente. Il canale costeggia la strada tra Le Mas e Sainte-Feyre. Prosegue il suo corso fino al prato dello Château, dove alimenta una pesca da cui si dipartono due rogge. L'irrigazione fertilizzava il campo, che diventava un prato di fieno. Questo ingegnoso sistema di distribuzione dell'acqua e di approvvigionamento dei villaggi per gravità era già in uso in epoca gallo-romana, ma non ci sono testimonianze scritte di quest'opera. L'acquedotto è molto ben conservato.
