Een aangename fietstocht in het oostelijkste deel van het Parc Naturel Régionale du Haut-Languedoc, vertrekkend vanuit het mooie, kleine gehucht Basse in de gemeente Octon. Het grootste deel van de rit gaat over smalle wegen met zeer beperkte autoverkeer. Aanvankelijk leidt dit ons door het ruige, sterk geërodeerde roodachtige landschap dat typisch is voor de Salagou-regio. Voorbij de Col de la Merquière leidt het ons naar de vallei van Le Graveson. We volgen de rivier via Lunas en omhoog naar de bron nabij Col Rouge, ook het hoogste punt van de rit. Vanaf Col Rouge gaat het op en neer op weg naar Octon via kleine agrarische gehuchten.
