De Swale is een kanaal tussen het vasteland van Kent en het Isle of Sheppey. Het is er heerlijk rustig wandelen. Deze wandeltocht begint aan de kleine haven van Oare en loopt eerst tussen de velden, om dan terug te keren langs de oevers van de Swale. Langs de route zijn weinig winkels of pubs, dus neem op voorhand genoeg rantsoen mee.
