Circular Hiking Trail of Naturpark Südeifel Nr. 40 - Geichlingen
We did this walk on 06/04/2025 (12,600 steps)
This route is a combination of 2 marked hiking trails of Naturpark Südeifel. They both start in Geichlingen, Germany and can be walked separately. The first one, number 39, mainly goes through the municipal forest. Due to missing markings and poorly maintained paths, we took a different route. One cannot really rely on the signage.
The second loop, number 40, mainly goes along paved roads. It's a lovely piece with beautiful views of the rolling fields here and there.
The little church of Geichlingen is certainly worth a visit.
