From the top of the Saint Martial hill, you can admire the village of Châteauponsac, the Pearl of the Gartempe. This charming village in the Haut Limousin region stretches out before your eyes, perched on its rocky spur. From here, you can make out the Faubourg du Moustier, Châteauponsac's emblematic street district, to the south of the church of Saint Thyrse, which overlooks it, as well as the terraced gardens, formerly cultivated, at the foot of which lies the Gartempe river. A landscaped area with benches and a picnic table gives you the chance to relax and enjoy a moment of peace and quiet.
