The path leads up to 'Trimbser Switzerland' over the flourishing valleys of the Nette, rare limestone grassland and along rough slate cliffs. Grandiose views over the wild valley of the Nette, the expansiveness of the Maifeld and the volcanoes of the East Eifel determine the route to the Burberg. Along the rustling Nette one reaches the 200-meter-long, illuminated tunnel Hausen 2, where unparalleled views of the Nette viaduct await at the end. After quiet forest passages, the path enters steeply into the Nettedal.
