Halle-Neustadt, im Volksmund auch Ha-Neu genannt, war eine Stadt im Bezirk Halle der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik und bezeichnet heute den Stadtteil Neustadt der Stadt Halle mit seinen vier Stadtvierteln Nördliche Neustadt, Südliche Neustadt, Westliche Neustadt und Gewerbegebiet Neustadt.
Sie wurde am 12. Mai 1967 zur eigenständigen und kreisfreien Stadt erklärt, nachdem sie ursprünglich als neuer Stadtteil Halle-West erbaut worden war. Die Einwohnerzahl betrug Ende 1972 ca. 51.600 und erreichte am Jahresende 1980 mit 93.578 Einwohnern ihren Höchstwert. Am 6. Mai 1990 wurde Halle-Neustadt in die Stadt Halle eingemeindet. Die Bevölkerungszahl hat sich seitdem etwa halbiert und fiel bis Dezember 2019 auf einen Stand von 45.661 Einwohner.
