Die auf einer Anhöhe stehende Kirche prägt den Standort der Boulevards. Sie wurde Anfang des 20. Jh. in neugotischem Stil erbaut, und der mächtige Bau ist eines der urbanistischen Wahrzeichen der Stadt.
Ihre beiden, die große Fensterrose einrahmenden Türme tragen zu einer sich vor ihr öffnenden interessanten Perspektive bei. Architekt der Kirche war der aus Vervier stammende Charles Thirion. Die besonders schönen Kirchenfenster gehören zum Besten, was in jener Epoche in Wallonien entstanden ist. Die Gemälde auf aufgeleimter Leinwand sind typisch für die Dreißiger Jahre.
