Walsbets is a village in the municipality of Landen, in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. Walsbets was an independent municipality until the municipal reorganization of 1965.De oldest mentions of the place mention Beche and Walsbeche . Etymologically, bets is a Romanized form of Germanic baki. The addition of waltz indicates the proximity of the language border.
