Unique for Flanders are the two hikers' cabins in the nave of the Sint-Quintinuskerk. The tower and the remains of the church walls were carefully restored while the nave retains the aspect of 'ruin'. A new volume in modern and contemporary architectural style was inserted into the ship, in which two hikers' cabins are housed. The Sint-Kwintensfietskluis is located in the rural village of Hees, near the cycle route network and each hiker's cabin can accommodate 4 people.
