The museum contains a collection of old local trams, the oldest of which dates back to 1888 (a steam locomotive). It also contains the oldest electric tram (1901) built entirely in Belgium.
The trams run on the line from Thuin to Lobbes, which is the last metre-gauge SNCV line in Belgium to run electric and diesel trams.
It is a line with a green setting, linking the village of Lobbes and the town of Thuin over hill and dale.
