In Bottelare you will find the Molenhoekstraat. In 1775 there was already a mill mountain at St.-Annastraat n° 36-38, with a wooden grain mill on top. During the 19th century it was owned by the Van De Velde family. The mill was demolished in 1909. The old mill house still exists and stands across the St.-Annastraat.
