The farm would have existed as early as the thirteenth century. A bridge over the Dender from the hospital testifies to this. The current bridge was built in the XIX century.
The buildings of the farm were rebuilt around 1525 by Marguerite de Baudrenghien. They burned down in 1575 and were then rebuilt by Sister Sergeant, and finished by Prioress Herwecq in 1609.
In 1834 the barn was rebuilt, with the addition of an octagonal chapel. And finally, in 1866, the sixteenth century sheep cages on the south side were replaced by new infirmaries.
The large portal has an imposing dovecote that ends in sloping gables. The barn from the XIXth century has an impressive carpentry frame. The farm remained active until the early nineties.
