From a description of the region of 1861 one can deduce: "In the extent of that mountain there is a wyngaerd of half an hour's length; begun in the year 1821 under the control of the Duke of d'Ursel, has now been completely destroyed. To shake the wyngaerd, a muer of half an hour long, of a metre thick, had been made from the stones of his mountain."
