Jasper National Park (Alberta) is the largest national park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. It lies north of Banff National Park and west of the city of Edmonton. Definitely worth it for nature lovers with its glaciers, lakes, waterfalls, hot springs, ... and a lot of wildlife such as grizzly bear, black bear, mountaingoat, bighorn sheep, caribou and other species of deer, ...
Some attractions are Mount Edith Cavell, Angel Glacier, Columbia Icefield, Athabasca Falls, Maligne Canyon, Maligne Lake, Medicine Lake.

The park is named after Jasper Hawes, who had a trading post in the 19th century.

Jasper National Park is a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984.
