The Illhorn is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, overlooking Chandolin in the canton of Valais. With a height of 2,717 metres above sea level, it is the highest point of the Illgraben valley.
Illgraben is best known for its literal breaking apart as the ancient mud that forms the mountain breaks apart, causing the resulting debris flows and mud slides. The area is a popular hiking spot and these geomorphological processes are visible most years.
