Königs Wusterhausen Central Tower was a 243 m , free standing steel framework tower on the Funkerberg of Königs Wusterhausen, Germany. The tower, with its unique triangular cross section, was built from 1924 to 1925 and was to have a 40-meter high shortwave aerial on top which would have brought it to a height of 283 meters, but it was not allowed according to the Treaty of Versailles because it would then have had a greater height than the Eiffel Tower. The tower collapsed during the storm Quimburga on 13 November 1972.
