The Trinquet de l'Abdet is the oldest trinquet dempeus in the Valencian Country: it dates from 1772. It is located in the Abdet a village of Confrides in addition, a historical modality of the Valencian pelota is preserved: the big ball, a tradition that is only maintained in L'Abdet and in the trinquet of Parcent.
Built in 1772, the ratchet of the Abdet was not the only one, but there is evidence of others like it in nearby towns such as Benimantell, Benimassot, Confrides, the Castle of Guadalest, Murla and Tollos, but all of them have disappeared in more or less recent times.
