Eglise St-Martin de Nouvion-le-Vineux

This church, which rises above the village, was built in the 12th and 13th centuries. It has one of the most beautiful bell towers in the region. The clock is decorated with flowers and is precisely adjusted. She is of great value. This building still shows a Romanesque décor on a Gothic structure.
The capitals from the 12th century form a beautiful ensemble of sculptures. Many show scenes that represent characters, animals looking at each other alongside others and all this finished with a decoration of very refined floral motifs. The altar and altarpiece in marble and gilded wood date from the 18th century and come from the old Prémontrée Abbey of Cuissy.
