The international long course Cape Horners Museum is located in the Saint-Servan in the city of Saint Malo in Ille-et-Vilaine. It shows documents related to the history of navigation, and more particularly captains navigating along the dreaded Cape Horn. The museum occupies four floors of Solidor tower on the banks of the Rance. The building is a fortification dating from the late fourteenth century. The museum traces the discovery of Cape Horn and the lives of Cape Horners using maps, portraits famous sailors, ship models, deck fittings, photos and other evidence of marine life.
