Saint-Aubert Fountain

It was erected in the eighth century in honour of Saint Aubert. It was here, according to legend, that a spring of fresh water, miraculously gushing out of the hard stone, was found and fed the monastery until the fifteenth century. It was fortified in the thirteenth century, communicating with the monastery by a Grand Degree protected by high walls, the ruins of which can still be seen in the Petit-Bois.
