Bazouges Castle is located on the banks of the Loir River in the town of Bazouges-sur-le-Loir in the Sarthe department in the Pays de la Loire region of France.
The Château de Bazouges was built in the 15th and 16th centuries for Baudoin de Champagne, chamberlain René I of Anjou, Louis XII and Francis I. Two towers in the style of the early Renaissance, with pitched noses and conical roofs, flank the gatehouse. In one of the two, there is a 15th-century chapel with an Anjou vault.
