The Macquarrie Mausoleum is a mausoleum on the Scottish Hebridean island of Mull. It is located in the interior of the island about 600 m northwest of the old Gruline House. The building contains the remains of Lachlan Macquarie, the former governor of New South Wales, who died in 1824 and was born on the neighbouring island of Ulva, and his second wife Elizabeth, who died in 1835. A marble commemorative plaque on the southern front refers to Macquarie's achievements in the formation of the state of Australia. In 1971, the Macquarrie Mausoleum was included in the Scottish Heritage Lists in the highest category A.
The mausoleum was built in 1824 in neo-Gothic style. The small, elongated building is made of large ashlar stones. The simply designed building ends with a gable roof. Marble slabs close the two entrance openings in the front sides. Inside, the building has supporting pillars. The mausoleum stands in the middle of a round enclosure, which is bordered by a quarry stone wall.
