Schenna Castle is a castle built in the year 1350 in the village of the same name near Merano, South Tyrol. In 1363 the nobleman Petermann von Schenna was also enfeoffed by the Habsburgs with the Reineck castle in the Sarntal Valley.
Inside the castle, in the Renaissance rooms, there is a collection of ancient weapons. The vast halls are all furnished with seventeenth-century stoves and a collection of paintings and portraits, a valuable collection by Andreas Hofer.
