The Mill of Waardenburg is a hexagonal thatched ground sailer, a mill capable of grinding along the Waalbandijk river dike and owned by the municipality of West Betuwe. The current miller, A. Roefs, is a member of the Guild of Voluntary Millers. Before 1780 there was almost certainly a post mill on the site of this flour mill, also known as a post mill. The post mill was blown over, repaired, and finally demolished around 1780 and replaced by the current hexagonal mill. Parts of the old post mill can still be found in the current mill.
