Bike tour along the Overijssels Kanaal

Starting point from Camping De Rietkraag (or Kroonplein Lemelerveld).
1. From the campsite over the canal dike towards the village
2. After 200 m cross the lock and turn left follow the road along the Overijssels kanaal.
3. Start from kroonplein: from Kroonplein over the bridge turn left towards Kanaaldijk-Noord follow the road along the Overijssels kanaal, cross at the next three bridges and continue to follow the cycle path. ( node 80)

Doctor's Bridge (2.)

Bolder bridge ( 4.)
4. After 5.2km straight ahead under the Ganzepan bridge (under national road N35).
Goosepan ( 5.)
5. After 40 m first road on the left (Pay attention to Info board about Landgoed Den Alerdinck).
Continue through barrier follow this road until Landhuis Den Alerdinck on your right.
Den Alerdinck( 6.)
After 100 m. after 100 m. turn left and follow the sandy path through beech lane.
Freewheeler 7.)
(Note! Halfway down this trail at Rhododendron bushes memorable place)
6. At the end of the lane turn right and follow the Zuthemerweg to the crossroads.
7. After 20 m at the crossroads turn right towards the Colkhof
8. After 1 km at the entrance of Landgoed De Colckhof turn left (at disabled parking) through the gates of the estate.
The Colckhof( 8.)
9. Continue to follow this dirt road over the Estate until you reach the white barrier.
10. After 50 m over the bridge immediately turn left onto the Bredenhorstweg.
11. After 1 km cross the level crossing and immediately turn left into Nieuwe Wetering.
12. After 2.3 km at the next bridge over the wetering turn left onto Rozendaelseweg.
13. Continue to follow this road on the railway line. After 1.2 km lies Landgoed
The Rozendael ( 9.)
14. After 500 m at the crossroads, follow the Bendijksweg straight ahead.
15. After 700 m at the junction continue Bendijksweg.
16. After 1 km first road turn right (Wolthuisweg (gravel road), straight on track.
You will pass the Japiksgat(10) on your right.
17. After 1 km at the crossroads turn left onto hondemotsweg.
18. After 4.8 km follow this road to a paved cycle path, follow it and at the next 4 turn left onto Pruimersallee.
19. Turn right at the end of the road, follow the paved road next to the national road and then turn left (Knapenveldsweg), cross the national road. Please note, very busy road!
20. After 1 km at the end of Knapenveldsweg turn left at the Harinkdijk.
21. Follow this road as far as Raalte, at the junction before the bridge turn left onto the Ridderschapsweg.
22. Turn right over the richterambtweg bridge
23. At the next crossroads, turn left onto Raarhoeksweg.
24. Second road turn right (dead end road, turns into cycle path) follow this cycle path until the new building then always keep left via Velduil to the Overijssels kanaal.
25. At the end of the road turn left onto Wolthaarsdijk, follow the west side along the Overijssel canal.
26. Continue along the Overijssel canal, turns into a cycle path after 3 km.
The Overijssel Canal (11.)
27. After 1.6 km end of cycle path at Krieghuisweg straight ahead.
28. At bridge cross and immediately left turn canal side West becomes Posthoornweg.
29. Turn right at the crossroads near Garage Harrie Nijboer. (For the camping guests follow the Posthoornweg straight ahead, then turn left the Weerdhuisweg towards the campsite)
30. Keep left at the end of the road and continue to follow the Parallelweg until the centre of the village.
