DuBois Area Senior High School is a midsized, rural, public high school located in the city of DuBois, Pennsylvania. The high school serves students from most of north western Clearfield County, and the in Jefferson County it covers the Boroughs of Falls Creek, Reynoldsville and Sykesville and Winslow Township. The school is part of the DuBois Area School District. In 2010, DuBois Area Senior High School had 1,246 pupils enrolled in grades 9th through 12th with four hundred seventeen pupils qualified for a federal free lunch due to family poverty. The student body makeup is 48 percent male and 52 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 1 percent. In 2010 there were 96 teachers. In 2011, staffing was 91 teachers. According to a report by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, 100% of its teachers were rated “Highly Qualified” under the federal No Child Left Behind Act.
