Wine farm "Vemde" owes its name to the hamlet in which it is located, north/east of Epe.65% blue and 35% white grapes spread over the 350 vines, grow on a piece of sandy soil with the size of 60 x 16 meters lying in a north/south direction. The vineyard is flanked to the west by a 2-metre-high hawthorn hedge with a gazebo overgrown with table grapes and roses in the middle. In the autumn of 2001 the soil for the future vineyard was ploughed and sown with a grass with clover mixture and fertilized.
