Sada Yacht Club

The marina in Sada is one of the largest in Galicia and one of the best rated in northern Spain, it has 1,300 moorings to accommodate vessels up to 25 metres long.
Its management is divided into three entities; Marina Sada, the Yacht Club and Portos de Galicia, placing the latter in the glass building in front of you. If you look closely, it is difficult to imagine how until recently, this was the old fishing-net makers warehouse, where Sada fishermen spent their hours out of the sea.
The Yacht club today, as well as accommodating boats, has a sailing school and organises more than 10 regattas a year. Its headquarters is a space open to the public where you can enjoy a delicious aperitif, while enjoying the best views.
Behind here you will see the Casa do Mar (Maritime Affairs Building), where the offices of Social Marine Institute, the Harbour Master and Fishermen's Guild are located. The latter, founded in 1944 was the main architect of the marine development of Sada.
Follow the route to the fishing port and continue until Fontán, a beautiful 18th century fishermen's district, which is not to be missed.More about nautical leisure in this video
