El proyecto pertenecía a la promotora Olga Urbana, que entró en concurso de acreedores en 2014. Así, el acreedor mayoritario pasó a ser la Sociedad de Gestión de Activos Procedentes de la Reestructuración Bancaria , una sociedad anónima de gestión de activos procedentes de la reestructuración bancaria o banco malo, como heredera del crédito hipotecario concedido por la extinta caja de ahorros Caixa Galicia. Sareb intentó recuperar parte del crédito a través de una subasta completa del inmueble, tras intentos fallidos por parte del promotor de lograr acuerdos con inversores extranjeros.[5] En abril de 2018, SVP Global obtuvo de manera oficial la propiedad del inmueble mediante una dación en pago mediante el pago de aproximadamente 60 millones de euros.[6][7] La promotora inició las obras en otoño del 2019[8] y concluyeron en julio de 2021, 14 años más tarde.[9]
