La Zaanstreek es una región en los Países Bajos y una de las áreas industriales más antiguas de Europa. Se encuentra en la provincia de Holanda Septentrional, al norte del canal de la Costa del Norte. La Zaanstreek se extiende a ambos lados del Zaan, que desemboca en el IJ a través del canal de la Costa del Norte y es navegable para pequeños barcos de costa. El actual municipio de Zaanstad se considera completamente parte de la Zaanstreek y a menudo se le iguala. De manera incorrecta, ya que también pertenecen a esta región Oostzaan, Wormerland y Markenbinnen.
