BAE Systems est une entreprise britannique travaillant dans les secteurs de la défense et de l'aérospatial, dont le siège social se trouve à Farnborough . L'entreprise a également des intérêts en Amérique du Nord via sa filiale BAE Systems Inc. Dans le secteur de la défense, elle est en 2014 la troisième entreprise mondiale. L'entreprise est née le 30 novembre 1999 par le rapprochement de l'ancienne British Aerospace et de Marconi Electronic Systems .
BAE Systems est l'héritier de nombreuses entreprises de la défense et de l'aéronautique, dont The Marconi Company, A. V. Roe Company, ou encore de Havilland, et British Aircraft Corporation, coréalisateur du Concorde. Depuis sa création BAE Systems s'est désengagé de certaines activités européennes en se retirant notamment d'Airbus, EADS Astrium, AMS , Atlas Elektronik .
