Figeac /fi'ʒak/ è un comune francese di 10.627 abitanti, sede di sottoprefettura, situato nel dipartimento del Lot nella regione dell'Occitania. Fra i suoi edifici più notevoli, si segnalano l'Hôtel de la Monnaie , attualmente sede di un museo archeologico, e la chiesa romanica di St-Sauveu.
È molto probabile che il nome Figeac derivi dal nome di persona Fidius combinato col suffisso latino -acum, indicante possesso: il toponimo Fidiacum si sarebbe poi evoluto nel termine contemporaneo; è altresì documentato l'intermedio Fiat di epoca carolingia.
