This pleasant little town is located at the foot of Mont Sainte-Odile (760 m), that is to say on the Alsace Wine Route! Obernai is also home to a major production unit of the Kronenbourg brewery. Park your motorcycle by the place la Chapelle and walk - it only takes a matter of seconds - to the place du Marché, around which all the city’s attractions are concentrated: the 16th-century town hall, the 13th-century belfry, the 16th-century Halle aux Blés, the fortifications, the ramparts and a tower from the 13th to the 16th century, the Well of Six Buckets, and the many houses from the 15th and 16th centuries. With its storks - whether plush or not -, its half-timbered houses, its wine shops and its attractive café-restaurants, Obernai is a summary of all of Alsace.
