Le “parc naturel régional du Haut Jura” est un 145.000 ha grand parc.Le point culminant de ce vaste
espace, boisé à 80 %, est le Crêt de la Neige (1.720m). Les chamois sont omniprésents sur les crêtes de ce massif de moyenne montagne. Le lynx est également présent, mais il se montre rarement.
