In 1936, poet and writer Herman Teirlinck moved from Sint-Idesbald to Beersel. In 1981 this house became the Herman Teirlinck Museum. Part of the house is set up as an art gallery. During a visit, you will discover souvenirs and curiosities, including a gueuze bottle with a label, asking the Brussels police officers to vote for Teirlinck in the 1926 parliamentary elections. The Liberals receive an electoral punishment and lose ten seats. Teirlinck was not elected.
