Bohan is the last village in Belgium, washed by the Semois. It is located deep in the southeast of the province of Namur, 16 km northwest of Bouillon in a straight line. The parish church (1760) is a beautiful building made of local stone. The Lourdes grotto on the left bank of the Semois, slightly downstream from the village, is a faithful reproduction of the one in Lourdes. At the village square stands the Maison du Marichau, a half-timbered building that rightly adorns the list of monuments. Just north of the village, in and around a Semois meander, stretches the beautiful nature park of Bohan-Membre, 177 ha of pure natural beauty.
